Looking for freeware disk/ISO image *EDITOR* (not ripper)

hi.

I am looking for a freeware program that can do the same as UltraISO
(i.e. create an ISO image from drag/drop files on its window) or
WinImage (create/edit a disk image by drag/drop files).

*I DON'T want a 'ripper' program for CD nor a program to extract disk
images from floppies!*

Do you know of any such program?

CDRTools are the closest programs to your description, I know of. Look
here for the front ends (Cdrecord_fe and the accompanied Visualiso):

http://demosten.com/cdrfe

and here for the tools:

I haven't used them myself, yet. But would *like* to hear from you,
whether they work well or not. ;-)

DeepBurner http://www.deepburner.com/ will create ISO images. There
is both a free and non-free version and both will do this according to
the Web site.

EasyISO v1.3 is freeware, and has been available for some time.
It does what you specified. It permits making .ISO files by dragging
individual files, or whole folders, and offers to make the .ISO a
bootable image from either your boot floppy in A: drive or from your
floppy image file. It also burns to the CD/DVD directly without
making an .ISO.

Why aren't people talking about the jewel? It is basically the
engine that the popular CDBurnerXP is based upon.

Wow, the EasyISO author has created *several* freeware CD/DVD burning
tools and more. EasyISO is located via the 'Burning tools' link:
