Logon Script for local XP system on home network

I am trying to set up a logon script on my local XP system. All I want to do
is map a drive letter to a shared folder on my other XP system. I am doing
it mainly to experiment with a simple logon scirpt. The net use command
syntax itself works but the script is not launching when I log on. The
script file needs to be stored locally on the XP system. Should I not be
able to create a simple bat file and store it in either
system32\repl\imports\scripts folder? Says I should share out this folder as
Netlogon, but not able to share out the folder because the share tic box is
grayed out in this directory.

Crreated a folder off the root that contained the startup.bat file and
shared this folder as Netlogon which does share out, but what is the syntax
in the Login Script field for pathing to whatever local folder containing
startup.bat.

Thanks much - Dennis

Are you using Home or Pro?

If you're using Pro, you can use group policy (gpedit.msc) to assign the
login script. If not, just add it to the startup folder in either All Users
or your own username.
