logon screen

How do I bypass the Windows logon screen? There is no other user at the workstation and I would like to just have it startup without the annoying added pick of the single user. Until I downloaded one of the upgrades to XP, I was able to logon without going through either a password windoe or the "welcome" screen.

Hi,

You installed the .net framework. It creates an additional user account and
causes this issue. Start/run "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes).

Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok and follow
the prompts to set up a default logon.
