logon failure

I have XP Home. When I enter the passwords to any of my
user accounts at the Welcome Screen, windows starts
loading the personal settings, but then I get a brief
look at the desk top (no folders) and windows logs the
account off again and saves the personal settings so that
I am at the Welcome screen again. Can anyone suggest how
I can logon on to any of the user accounts. This happens
with the administrator account too.

This is a common result of removing spyware. If this is the case see
