Logon fails

Hi Everyone.

My problem is with a log on at work. We all use Cntrl, Alt and Delete to log
into our computers but one of our computers has recently decided not to work.

It starts up fine and even goes to the Cntrl, Alt and Delete log in screen
but as soon as you put in your user name and password and click on ok...it
thinks for a second and then goes back to the Cntrl, Alt and Delete screen
again.
There is no error message at all. It just can not get past this screen.

does anyone have any ideas what so ever.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Try to logon in safe mode. If not works run recovery console and type:
"copy c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe c:\windows\" without quotes.
"expand d:\i386\winlogon.ex_ c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe" without
quotes. If there will be a bigger problem run recovery console again and type:
"copy c:\windows\winlogon.exe c:\windows\system32" And before doing this see
if you can logon with administrator.
