Logoff a users who has locked their PC

In our environment we have multiple users using the same PC. We are having
an issue where users are locking their computers and anyone who comes after
is unable to log them off without rebooting the PC. Does anyone know if
there is a way for a non-administrative user to logoff someone who is already
logged in? I am hoping there is a group policy, but I have been unable to
find one yet.

Thanks

Reset button.

If they are too lazy, ignorant, or forgetful to logoff from a shared
host then they take the risk of losing any work in progress (i.e., they
lose any data in still-open applications). They get what they give.

No. non-admins can't. An admin can forcibly log them off, but this is
effectively a 'wrecking-bar job' -it doesn't close their session properly.
Any open documents are liable to loss of data. Worse, there is no simple way
to tell what work will be lost. While you could enumerate open files for this
user on a server, there is no way to tell what local files are open.

Best answer is to set a policy disallowing locking. Or, insist on
management-set passwords.
