Hi All,

I have just purchased the Logitech MX5000 Laser Keyboard & Mouse combo for
my new system. I have installed all the relevent software etc but the mouse
is going MAD, it jumps about all over the place and when moving, it delays
and never goes where you want it to! Can ANYONE help?!

THANKS for any help!

How close do you have that receiver to other electronic parts like
monitor...speakers...computer???
the manual tells you to keep it X number of inches away.

Hi Peter,

The Bluetooth receiver is plugged into a USB port in the back of the tower
which is about 18 inches away from the monitor and speakers.

It sounds like it may be a hardware issue - if it's new enough, maybe you
can trade it in on another. Maybe it was dropped hard during shipping or
something to have knocked some of the components loose internally. The only
other time I've seen mine react as you have stated is 1) just as peter said,
too close, 2) the batteries were extremely week, 3) it was on the same
channel as my wife's mouse/keyboard (changed channel on the bottom solved
it) or 4) a cordless or cell phone was very close by.
