Logitech Laser Mouse Freezes on Startup

Hello,

Every other time I turn on the computer, my Logitech mouse/cursor is frozen.
I have ti unplug the USB cable and plug it back in to make the mouse function
again. It seems to be a driver issue, but I have downloaded the latest update
from Logitech. I'm not sure what the issue is now...

Do you connect the mouse directly to a USB port or with a USB HUB?
Please try to connect your USB mouse directly to a USB port that your mother
provids.
And also, in the BIOS, you should enable USB mouse support.

Logitech has many new vista drivers for several of their desktop and mouse.
Please check their website. In some cases a driver may not be available and
if so then the mouse is not supported, at least for now.

What monitor are you using? This may sound strange but, I have a
Olevia 30in HDTV I use as my monitor. I had an issue with my logitech
mx1000 where the mouse would freeze everytime I rebooted my PC. If I
powered the monitor off, then back on again, the mouse would work. Go
Figure. The problem went away afer I installed logitech setpoint.
