Logins with Media Center

I have purchased a Media center PC with dual video card - the first one is
simple.

Do you have to be logged in to use the media center. e.g - we have 6 logins
(4 kids) setup - whenever I want to see whats on do I have to login to one of
these logins and start media center - if so - is there anyway to do this from
the remote that comes with the unit - can it be configured that whenever the
start button is pressed on the remote it will auto-login and start windows
media center.

If ya can't then this means I have to go to the computer and login before I
can play anything - I could have done this without media center!
