Please advice is that any windows firewall block it? because previous the

I suppose you mean local computer rather that local domain. For the logon to
your Active Directory domain taking so long could be a dns problem in that
the computer can not contact a domain controller. Check to make sure that
the only dns servers listed in the preferred dns server list in tcp/ip
properties as shown by ipconfig /all are domain controllers running dns for
the domain zone. Check the logs via Event Viewer to see if anything related
is found and run the support tool netdiag to see if problems are found with
dns, dc discovery, or trust /secure channel and to see if an ipsec policy is
active. Also make sure the time on the computer is in synch with the domain
controllers and when checking time check time/date/month/year/time
zone/AM&PM. --- Steve

Dear Sir,

Is the DNS related if the notebook try to login via the offline mode?It
should not sychconize back to the server when it in the offline mode right?i
try to re-join the domain but the result still same.

Please advice.

It is hard to say depending on exactly what you are trying to do. While it
is connected to the network and logged onto the domain run the support tool
netdiag /v and paste the results into a reply here so I can see it and also
any error events shown in the application and system logs that are shown to
occur during startup. --- Steve

Hi tejpal,
1. the notebook can ping the ip perfectly
2.the notebook is connecting to the DHCP server and the domain like other
user also.
3. i already try re-register the domain before but the result still same.

So i need the advice on any registry that we can check to make sure the
windows login not corrupt or any windows firewall can block the system
continue.
Please advice.
