Hello.
I have made a little progress on this issue. We are running Windows 2003
server using login scripts specified in user
account settings. Logging into one machine, the scripts run fine. Logging
into another, they don't even try to launch at all. No event log errors on
DC or client.
What we have found is that if a test user DOES NOT have a home folder
specified in their profile, the script runs fine on all machines. As soon as
you define a profile, it stops working on some of the systems.
Both machines are running Windows XP SP2, and both receive the same group
policy. They are in different OUs.
The machines were NOT built using the same image, but the same procedure was
supposedly followed for both.
Can anyone shed any light on this issue? I have googled the heck out of this
one.
Thanks
