Login script problem

L

Luc Gagnier

Hi,

I have a domain (colval.lan) with 2 DCs in Win2k, login script associated to
600 users, etc. I built a new domain (colval2.lan) with 2 DCs in Win2k3. I
placed the trust relationship between these two domains. Since I've added a
computer in the new domain, every user of the old domain that want to logon
that have a login script associated, be able to logon but the login script
didn't execute. The home folder is present. The user is not present in the
new domain only in the old one.

Someone else can back me up on this, but I don't think a trust relationship
extends to logon scripts. The logon script is local to the domain that the
computer is a member of, so if you need the logon scripts to execute in the
new domain you'll need to copy them to it and associate them with the
desired objects in the new forum.
