login into the win2k domain is very slow with XP

I'd renew my request , could you give ma a hand?
We have 2 types of Workstation : WIN2K and WIN XP
We have SBS Small business Server likes PDC

the login of Users having WIN XP is very slow and the both
have roaming profile. However User having WIN2K has the
login more faster.
Coudld you help me?

I know when I setup a Windows 2000 server, if I didn't have the
workstation's first DNS address pointing to the server, then the log in
was long.....

Granted you have a different server but it may be worth a shot.

I have having the same slowness issues. Are you meaning
to manually configure the DNS on the XP clients?

set forwarding to your gateway - hence dns will only search local for
lookups
