Logging on to XP

Our PC boots fine into XP, but when any of us logs in, before the desktop
opens we get TWO command prompt boxes and the desktop opens behind these. We
can close the command prompt boxes by either typing 'exit' or by clicking
the red cross in the top right corner of the window and the PC then appears
to operate as normal.

Try control-panel,user accounts,click on a account,then select,change the way
a user logs in,edit.
