Logging chat Windows Messenger 5.1

Hi,
How to log Windows Messenger 5.1 chat messages with out using third party
software (Messenger Plus OR MessengerLog)?

Is there any API available, so that we can develope our own application?

I assume you're just piggybacking on this thread. As what's mentioned here already, the
older version of Messenger Plus is the defacto way of doing this:
