Why do you have a server set to go to standby?

In the display applet in the control panel, do:

Screensaver tab---Power button---Advanced tab---Prompt for password when
computer goes off standby=TRUE

Any reason the server should be allowed to go on standby?

Its just my opinion, but a server should never, ever be left unattended
without a logoff. Thats not just a policy here, its the law, and its
enforced with no exceptions accepted. Not even for a pee. Leaving an
interactive administrative logon on a server is both dangerous from a
desktop access and a virus prolifiration point of view.
