Log into Box

Hi,

I have Windows 2000 Adv. server which is on a domain.
When i try login into the server through TS it gives me
the Credential dialog box with username and password and
the log into fields shows me both the local computer name
and the domain.

Is there a way i can let it is show only the domain name
and not the local computer name?

Cheers

Why? You need to be able to log onto a server with a local logon in cases
where it makes sense (the network or domain is down, for example).

If you just don't want people to see the option, use the option on the
screen to suppress the information...

Hi Hank,

First of all Hank we are talking about novice users who
connect via TS on to this server and who need to login
onto the domain and not the local computer and they
always call us up saying their credentials are wrong.

What i need is by default it should show the Domain and
not the local computer in the Log Into combo box in the
Logon Dialog box.

Hope there si smeway i can set this atleast in the
registry :)

Cheers
