lock font size on a protected document

Two questions: 1. My font is set at arial 10 for most of the document. When
it is unprotected it comes in as such. Once i protect it, it becomes times
new roman 12. I've checked everything at it all matches up.

2. I want to be able to insert pictures on a protected document, the only
way I know how to do this is change the editing restrictions to comments
only. When I do that, the form check boxes do not work anymore and the text
form fields are invalid. Can I have two different editing restrictions for
one document?

Form fields should be formatted with the style applied to them. I know of no
way to change this behaviour for form fields. Check the formatting with the
document unlocked.

For the second part of your question insert a continuous section break
either side of the area you wish to insert the picture (unless at the start
or ebnd of the document when you need only one break. Protect the document
for forms and select only the sections that you wish to protect.
