Location of PST files

Hello all

Outlook 2000 (which I loe)

My pst file is located in My Documents. However, it also automatically seems
to be on my USB flash memory stick (which is drive F on my system). When the
computer is moved and the F is disconnected, the pst file on the main hard
disk continues to be used (as evidenced by the Properties | Last accessed
date as the Updated date doesn't get incremented). When the USB stick is
plugged in again the pst file there appears to be updated (same method for
ascertaining). What's going on here? Does Outlook 2000 have a mechanism
where backups are automatically made? How can I control it? BTW, I
routinely back up My Documenst to the USB drive frequently.

No, Outlook doesn't do this by itself. Could you have a 3rd party tool
installed (for instance that came with your flash drive) that does a sync?
