locate links browser problem

I am having this problem when I click on a link in an email. I tried to do
the fix, but when I go into folder options, file types and Select Extension:
(NONE), File Type: URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol , on the edit file type
menu, the EDIT option is greyed out. How do I get it to be active so I can
fix this?

Yes, I did google it, but all I ever got was the directions on how to fix the
links problem. and that's fine, but the "click on edit" step does not work if
the edit button is greyed out. How do I get the edit button to become active
so I can fix the problem?

So it's not an Outlook problem at all, is it? It's the fact that you can't
edit the File Association which is a WINDOWS problem. I suggest you re-post
in a group appropriate to your version of Windows....
