Local user migration from Win2000 to Win2003

Paul

I am in the process of bringing down an old web server
(running Win2k Server) and bringing up a new one (which
will be running Win2003 Server).

I am looking for an easy was to migrate all of my Local
Users to the new server. I looked at the Addusers app but
it does not setup passwords, I also looked at the User
Migration Utility but it appears to only move Domain
level users.

I quite a few local users that are being used to give
customers FTP access to this web server, unfortunately
many of the passwords are not documented. Rather than
have to call each customer and give them a new password
or find out their old one, it would be easier if I could
find a utility to simply export then import all of the
accounts to the new server.

Thanks!

Hello,

If you only need to transfer user accounts including properties and
passwords, try Ideal Administration from Pointdev. Now, if you need to
migrate user accounts, passwords, and ACL on files/directories, you need
to use Ideal Migration. All the products at http://www.pointdev.com
