Local Security Settings

I cannot open the account policy or local policy
database. I get the following error:

Windows cannot open the local policy database.

An unknown error occured when attempting to open the
database.

I believe that this happened when I installed the Cisco
VPN client software, but I am not positive.

Any help? Thanks!

Also, if you have a virus scanner installed, it could be interfering with
secedit.sdb by excluisively opening it when SCE is trying to use it. You
need to exempt the files in %windir%\security from scanning.
