Local Printing through RDP Connection

I cannot access my local printers while connected to my server through the RDP.
I have tried to connect to both a local printer attached directly to my
laptop, and Network printers in the office.
I have ensured that the Printer box is checked in local resources.
I have edited the registry to recognize ports other than just the LPT
I have ensured that RDP is enabled
And that port 3389 is open through the server and the client.
My laptop client is on a seperate LAN using Win XP Pro, and the sever is
running SBS 2003.
It still will not allow me to use my printer. This is very frustrating, I
have tried other forums to figure this out, but no one seems to have an
answer. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

What model printer are you using? not all printers are compatiable with this
feature, take a look athe hp p2010.. there is a list of compatiable printers
buried in the WINNT folder, but it's a pain to to edit this file, although i
have done it. Also if you are using a MFC it will not work no matter what you
do.

I find using business class printers work.
