Local Policy Question

I have recently made changes to the local policy on my Windows XP
professional denying certain features to ordinary users. Now when I logon as
administrator I am also denied. Now the options in local policy to reverse
the action are no longer functional. This does function @ all like group
policies in a domain environment.
