local downlevel document error

upgraded to xp home from Windows 98 now every time I start up my printer goes
haywire and prints continuosly. I replaced my printer still same problem
In see whats printing ( local downlevel document error ) appears. I can
cancel the items and every thing works fine until I start up again

Make and Model of Printer?
