Local Area Connection

I'm using a wireless modem. My friend went into "My Network Place" and
deleted the "Local Area Connection" , and now i cant get onto the internet.
Is there anyway to restore this?

Since neither you or your friend are particularly computer-savvy (and I
don't say that to hurt your feelings), first try a System Restore to
before you did this.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"

Pick a date just before "the accident".
