Local Area Connection Properties Controls are Disabled

In local area connection properties, i installed the NetBUI Protocol. After
that, when I launch the properties window, it pops up a dialog saying "The
contorls on this property sheet are disabled because one or more other
network property sheets are already open. To use these controls, close all
these property sheets and then reopen this one." Now I am not able to
perform any operations on that properties window, including chaning the
TCP/IP properties, or uninstall NetBUI protocol.

Any ideas whats going on? Any workarounds?

please advise. Thanks!

yes, I re-root it and still have the same error.

I just want to know how to uninstall this NetBUI protocol.
