Hi i have question reguarding my problem withLocal Area Connection.

My Local Area Connection started not showing on my taskbar last week and the
the Local Area Connection shortcut is not working right too i can't get it
work back where it working again. I can now only enable or disable the
shortcut on my desktop not both sametime. I have to hit refresh everytime
now on my Network Connection after i disable or enable my Local Area
Connection to find out if it working. But funny thing i can still use the
network to go on online.

I tried going to my Network Connection and right cilt for properties and hit
the "check mark on both icon" that said "Show icon in notification area when
connected" and "Notify me when this connection has limited or no
connectivity". I got nothing ok i even check my taskbar for customize
notification to see if have been on hide and it was not there for me to find
it.

I want my Local Area Connection working again in my taskbar and my Local
Area Connection shortcut working right again.

P.S. Please help me on this problem i need help thank you for your time.

Chief,

This sounds more like a problem with an icon in the tooltray itself, than with
the network. I think the fact that the problem icon is Local Area Connection or
whatever is co-incidental.

When did you first observe this problem? Did you install or un install any
software products around that time?

I observe mysterious problems like this in my tooltray too - just not with the
icon you're describing. I know I collect too many tooltray icons, maybe you do
too.

What's in your tooltray?
