Local admin account rights

Mikko

I'm logging into our W2K workstations as local admin. Problem is that
I can't access W2K server's network shares shared to domain admin.
Question is... what should I do to give local admins domain admin
rights? This wasn't a problem in NT4 environment, wonder why?

We also set up an ISA Server last week, which allows domain users to
access internet. Now I can't get connection as local admin.

Thanks in advance!

Local administrators have no special rights in the domain and would not be
able to access a share that requires domain admin access. If you need to
access that share then logon as a domain administrator, though I would be
careful what machines you logon to as a domain administrator in case of a
keyboard logger,etc. --- Steve
