LOADING XP PRO onto exisiting PC

Guest

Hi, I have just had to reinstall W XP Pro because of problems on my PC with
the upgrades.

I loaded the CD over writing the existing files, most things appear okay but:

When I completed the reload with a new XP Pro Cd and license (full not
upgrade version) I receive a message that my XP does not recognise the
Ethernet controller, SM BUS controller, Video Controller or Video controller
VGA (working on previous XP Pro software) . I have tried to uninstall by
following the right click info suggested, restart the PC using the device
manager for the ethernet controller but still I have the same problem.
Obvousily I cannot connect to the Inet, home network etc for more info or
downloads and I am using another PC to contact you.

Can you help please

many thanks

Check the hardware manufacturer's web site for the latest Windows XP driver
for your device.
