*.lnk file extension on folder using WinZip

Currently when I right click on a document folder that contains multiple
types of files e.g. Word, Excel, and PDF and use the command "Zip and E-mail
*folder name* and other files.zip" the attachment to either Outlook Express
or Outlook is converted to a .lnk file. Is this an expected outcome of using
this command or is there a setting that can be changed so that the "zipped"
folder and its contents remains a .zip file? The computer I am using has XP
Pro as its OS.

Thanks,

If you don't find that in the WinZip help, it would be pretty simple to work
around it. A rightclick will zip a folder, and a dragNDrop will attach it to
any Compose window of email.
These 'send to' shortcuts are found when you go to start/run, and type:
%userprofile%/Sendto
