Live Presentation

I know this is not the correct place to post this, but I hope that someone on
her may be able to point me in the right direction.

I currently use a Powerpoint presentation that is broadcasted on several
monitors around our company. Updating employees on our monthly performance.
What I am wanting to do is incorporate this information into a live
presentation very simular to the way that new channels are displayed. For
example you would have the powerpoint presentaion showing in the middle which
would stay the same all month, but have say weather details down the side and
travel info scrolling across the bottom which would be updated regually.

Does anyone know the name od software that will do this?

How about making use of a webpage which auto refresh in a specific amount of
time, then, make use of Shyam's LiveWeb Add-in to add the webpage into
PowerPoint? Updates on the ticker will be done on the webpage, which will
then reflect on PowerPoint. You will need to have some knowledge on html
coding though.
