Live OneCare error report

Whenever I try to open Live OneCare I'm getting a "Windows Live OneCare has
encountered a problem and needs to close" error report. I'm a paid OneCare
subscriber. If I try to uninstall, the same message appears. If I try to
reinstall, I'm told I already have Live OneCare installed. The error report
signature contents:

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : winssui.exe P2 : 0.6.400.0 P3 :
45392b15
P4 : mscorlib P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 4333ab80 P7 : 1a87 P8 : 10
P9 : system.io.fileloadexception

I did a System Restore to a point well before this problem appeared
yesterday, to no avail.
Whre do I go from here?
