Live edit

Ok I’m having a problem doing live edits in frontpage2003, the edit button in
internet explorer doesn’t show the FrontPage icon and I can’t view source
when I right click.

I’ve tried tools – internet options – programs HTML editor –FP.
Anny help would be gratefully appreciated

Delete the Temporary Internet Files
In Internet Explorer, Tools->Internet Options - General tab, click the
Delete Files button.

It's not under the IE Edit button, it's under File.
File > Edit with FrontPage.

What happen when you launch FP, then File Menu | Open Site and enter http://www.yourdomainname.com
and then your login info, click OK, then click Open?

Hi Shayne,

Using RegEdit from Start | Run check to see what you have under the key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.htm\OpenWithList Frontpg.exe should be present.

Does the OP not mean the "Edit With...." button on the tool bar? Does the
same thing as File > Edit with Frontpage.

In my browser ( IE 6 ) there is no "Edit With" button on the toolbar.
It's only under File.

It's there for all sites but deactivated on sites which have the content set to expire immediately in IIS
