Listing of Group Ownership & Permissions

Hi!

At my organization, we have folders on our Windows 2003 Servers that
contain several other folders - all of which are accessable to our
users as mapped drives, or shares.

What I am interested in doing is getting a listing of the permissions
and sharing rights information from each folder. I know that I can see
this stuff manually by digging through the properties of each folder,
but I would love an automated method.

Please advise! Anything would be a great help.

Download a copy of the Windows 2003 Resource kit. In there you will
find many usefull utils including one that will get the ACL information
for you and output the information to a text file.

Err... I made a mistake.

Our NEW server is Win2k3 server edition, but the old ones (the ones
with the folders/shares on them) are Windows NT. Is there an equivalent
utility for NT?
