listbox multi select

I have read some of the other posts and it seems there is no option to
enable multi-select of dropdown menus on forms, or it's a bad idea as
it results in having multiple values in one field.

I would, however, love to be able to do this. I am using access to
enter data from a survey I wrote and some of the questions can have
more than one answer, (for example: why did you use the library today?)
hence the need to be able to select more than one option in a dropdown
list.

What other options are there?

A dropdown is a combobox and, as is, can't do multiselect. As your title
suggests, a listbox can be multiselect.
