ListBox: how to "autoscroll" to the last item?

when i add more items to a listbox than fitting on the screen, a scroll
bar appears - which is fine

But: new items are always added outside the visible area of the control.
How can i scroll a new added item into the view, so that the new item is
always listed as the last visible item in the control? (do you know what
i mean? )
