List Box Help

I have created a list box that links back to a table. The table has a list
of names and is bound to the list box in the form. When we review an item,
we go to the list box and choose one of the names from the drop down.

There are about 5 users. 4 of us can use the drop down and select a name.
There is one person who can open the form, click on the drop down and see the
names but CANNOT choose any of the names.

Is it a setting within their Access system? What can I do to fix it?

Yes, the update was one that was part of an automatic update from Microsoft.

I had an occasion where I was developing an applicaiton and had gone to the
client's site, in an major top level meeting at a major oil company. The
demo of the app was working just perfect at my office. When we loaded on to
a machine that would then project it to a screen and tried it, we had combo
boxes that did not load data and some that even if the data was displayed,
you could not make a selection from the combo box.

We had to completely call off the meeting. Thankfully the top IT executive
was in the meeting and said that he thought he knew what had happened. Come
to find out, there had been an update that went out and as each machine
received the update all access applications were affected the same way. They
had to roll back the upadate until a fix was available.
