Linksys EFSP42 Print server & WinXp: Can print from printer server, but not from WinXp

I was hired to setup a print sharing scenario for a 1 person marketing
office at my wife's small non-profit. Marketing has 2 computers, a new
WinXp and an old Win98. They have 2 printers, a HP LaserJet 5 and an
Epson form printer (Ex-100?). The entire office, rather then run wires
for Internet, they have Wifi, coming off a broadband router connection
on the top floor (one floor above marketing) so the Marketing dept.
has wifi internet. They want to be able to hook up both pc's to the 2
printers.I suggested a printer server.

I went out and picked up a Linksys EFSP42. Plugged the 2 printers in
and the XP machine to it Lan jack (make that one the admin).
Initially, I couldn't get an IP address assigned because of the wifi
connection, so I tried "Bridging the connections" but while the
bridging was successful (including setting the wifi to "promiscious
mode"), I was unable to see the print server and unable to to surf the
internet. So I chose to "disable" the Wifi connection in the Network
Properties menu, and get the print server working. I ran in the
software, and was able to connection via IPX, not TCP/IP (odd) but I
was able to assign the server an IP address and using its Admin
utility, was able to print Test pages for both printers. I went into a
seperate "assign the printers to ports screen" the server wasn't
letting me attach the Epson to Port 2. (But it printed test pages for
both printers in the Admin utility?) When I tried to print test pages
from the computers, they both failed as well.

I have yet to try and get this working with the Win98 box.

To re-cap my problems/questions:

1) Network bridging, while successfully bridged, was unsuccessful in
seeing the print server or the internet.
2) Set up printer server ok, but unable to send test pages to the
printers.
3) Then I have to do something about the Win98 box.

Can someone help me get this up and running?

Thanks!
Mark
