Links treated as Files

B

BugOnPoint

Operating system: Vista Home Premium
Outlook Version: 2007

When I receive an email with a link to a web site in it and click on it I
get a message that says "Windows cannot open this file" and then it lists the
characters following the last / in the link as the file name. I run the same
version of Outlook on an XP machine and it works fine.

Thanks for any help

You should choose or re-choose your default browser (Internet Explorer,
Firefox, etc.) in Default Programs. Vista has lost the file association for
html files.
