Links Toolbar Icons Changed

I'm curious as to why the icons on my links toolbar changed from the website
logos to the internet explorer logo and can I change them back. If so, how?

Hi,

The favicons, as they are called, are stored in the Temporary Internet
Files. As files age in that folder, they are pushed out into oblivion. When
this occurs, the shortcuts revert to the default "e" icon. Read
