Hi I have not been having problems with the sidebar in general but if I take
a gadget like Sky News or moreover other newsfeed gadgets when I click on a
news story it comes up on the left og the gadget ...then it gives me a link
for the full story...when I click it it comes up with application not
found....also I have an issue with windows live ( formerly msn )..when i chat
to friends I am unable to click on links they send to me ...any ideas on
either of these will be gratefully recieved.

Have you tried resetting the defaults for Internet Explorer?

1. Click on Start, and then click on Default Programs.
2. Click on "Set your default programs".
3. Select Internet Explorer from the left-hand side and click on "Set this
program as default".
4. Click on the OK button.
