If I go to a web page - anyone, the home page may display OK or have a page
error, then I refresh and get the page. Smae occurrs with any links on the
page - I get the page cannot be displayed error and then I will refresh a few
times and it displays correctly.

What is wrong? Is it a setting in IE?

I have cleaned PC for virus and spyware etc - all OK.

Hi,
First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Next, see "If you get a blank page:" at http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm

Are you sure that the machine is malware free? Have you updated and run
Ad-aware, Spybot and (if running WinXP) MS Anti-Spyware (Beta.)

the pC I am sitting in front of now - the Link you gave
http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm . I do not have this URL File Type only
the internet shortcut ? Strange? I have XP pro? This PC does not have the
problem i put on the forum.

Anyways I will folow the instructions you gave provided.

Cheers
Mike

Open Windows Explorer.
Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol (NOT URL:Internet Shortcut)
and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.

You DO have that file type. Look among those that have NONE for the
extension.
