Links in E-mail Messages

The links appear in blue in my e-mail messages. When I clicked on such a
link, I was taken directly to the corresponding web page.

Now, such a link doesn't work: when I click on the link, nothing happens ->
I am not taken to the web page.

What is wrong and how would I correct it so clicking on such a link takes me
to a web page?
