Links folder in Favorites

I'd like to get rid of the links folder in my Favorites, but every time I
try to delete it, it returns. I've even tried doing it through Windows
Explorer, but it just won't go away. It's not a big deal, but still I feel
like I'm loosing control... Any ideas? It's XP Pro with IE 6.0.

Close all instances of IE.
Using My Computer, go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Favorites
Right click the Links folder, then Properties.
Click to put a checkmark besides "Hidden" under "Attributes".
Click Apply, click Okay.
Reopen IE and the Links folder should be gone.
