Linking word documents

I am trying to link word documents into a larger word file. It is only
bringing in the first page (the file I'm bringing in is 9 pages). Any
suggestions?

How are you doing it? What version of Word?

How exactly are you linking the documents?
Are you using Insert File or Includetext field?

Dean -

I am using Word 2003. I have figured out how to link the documents. I
used "Insert/object/ from file"

But now it is coming in like a text box and I am unable to edit in the
master document. Also, I was hoping to get a table of contents where people
can find what they are looking for in the index and be able to click on that
line and have it bring them to the page (The document will be over 200
pages)... Any suggestions?

Don't insert object from file but insert file.
You may find the boiler add-in that you can download from my web site
useful.
