linking outlook contacts

I am attempting to link my outlook contacts to my access database, I have
250+ customers that I want linked with my contacts in outlook,
currently I don't have any outlook contacts
but when I try to link them all it does is put a contacts table into access,
how can i get the data off my customers table and into the linked table that
outlook put into access? I also understand that their are fields in my
customers table that will not have a destination in the outlooks contacts
table. I'm fine with that I basically just want the tables linked so i can
drag and drop contacts in outlook onto the calender in outlook to make
scheduling easier.
