Linking items

I'm trying to insert a hyperlink in a cell. Thing is, there are two
items in the same cell that need separate links but I can only seem to
give each cell one hyperlink. Is there any way to highlight one text
and link it, then highlight the other text in the same cell and give it
a different link? Excel 2007. Thanks!

No one knows how to set up two hyperlinks within the same cell? Or if
it's even possible?

Each cell can get a single hyperlink.

But maybe you could insert a couple of rectangles from the Drawing toolbar over
that cell. Each of those rectangles can get its own hyperlink.

And if you hide the borders, it might even look ok.

I don't know how to do all that. Thanks for the response though!

What version of excel do you use?

In xl2003, I'd use:
View|toolbars|check Drawing (to see the drawing toolbar)
Click on the rectangle
Draw that rectangle where you want it (over the left hand side of the cell???)
rightclick on it and choose Hyperlink
(assign your hyperlink)

Do the same with another rectangle (over the right hand side???)

If you want to hide the rectangle's border, right click on its border.
Choose Format Autoshape
In the "Line" section, choose No Line

Repeat for the other rectangle.

If you're using xl2007, then maybe someone can share how to get to the
Rectangle/Drawing stuff.
