Linking and Emebbing Problems...HELP!!!

Hi
I'm using Office Xp and for some reason everytime i open
Excel it comes up with the error message "cannot use
object linking and embedding" can anyone help who has had
this problem, I have uninstalled the software.. removed
the registy key and the program file... but still doesn't
work.. i have installed SP2 for Office XP... never
resolved the problem!!!I have had a look at Technet.com...
nothing on there regarding this problem. Please help i'm
slightly stuck!

Its Ok solved the problem

Forgot to take excel.exe out of the registry!! Problem
fixed
