linked table problem

The application in question is designed with one mdb file contining all of
the forms and code, and a second mdb file with the data tables. Each user
has the "front end" mdb installed locally. Both mdb files are 2003 format.
Recently one user noticed that the "status" field on a form whose source is
the linked "transaction" table showed no values and neither did the
underlying linked table . All other table fields showed values. When the
same user views the unlinked table in the "back end" mdb file, everything
displays. I've tried deleting and re-linking, with no success.

The application has been in use for over three years but the problem has
never before occured, and this particular user is the only one with the
problem. Can you suggest a cause?

Is the control on the form a combo box?

If so, did this user recently have any updates installed such as MS Office
SP3?

If both are true, you might have a look at this link to see if it may be the
cause of the problem.
